Setting Up an Indoor Garden
The time has come to set up an indoor garden and you don’t know where to begin.
Questions arise such as which lights will work best, how much should I spend, what type of materials do I need.
Well let’s get to the skinny and with some tips to get you started.
Purchase a rack of your choice, we like to use metal because they can withstand the weight of our plants better and just overall will last a little longer.
Some racks come with four shelves an some with five.
Or you can go with a smaller rack with just a few shelves.

-LED T8 lights, we like the Barrina LED Grow Lights, they are 4 feet long, they are T8’s and they come in 6 packs which were a little pricey but not as much as we found for other lights, they were around $109 for the six pack on amazon (you want three lights per rack)k
-small fans, we purchased the AC infinity multi fan S7 quiet dual USB fans from amazon, one fan tied to each rack with lights
-A power strip with 2-3 USB ports
-Two, outlet adapters that have three plug inserts
-Small zip ties
-One Timer to shut lights on and off
-Wire cutters to cut zip tie tags
-The rack, metal is preferred and you need some sort of shelf liners to help with water seepage from watering plants
Positivities about using Barinna LED T8 Growing Lights:
- Ideal choice for stepping up our light gam
- Ability to hang in any space, these would work over a counter or shelf in your home
- Full spectrum so they will hit the entire plant
- They can plug into each other, helping with easy set up
