solar ligths ON PORCH WITH COOL 1920’S VIBE
My husband and I enjoy lights.
In fact we can get a little crazy about finding unique lights to put all over our house.
This summer has been no exception and the ideas we have to add more keep coming.
Here’s the skinny on finding affordable solar lights to dress up your backyard.
We found these really cool affordable lights on amazon which we placed around our porch and they are solar powered.
I really like the design of them, they have a roaring 20’s vibe.
These also provide a nice calm dim light, and it looks like we stationed candles along our railing. It almost reminds me of a soft glimmer from an old gas lamp.
The order for these came rather quick, and we used our drill to screw them into our wood railing on our porch which only takes seconds.
Here is a look back at them showcasing their nice dim glow.
EASY TO INSTALL solar ligths IN THE GARDEN
The newest lights to our collection that I am most excited about are these solar lights we hung on our garden fence. These are also on amazon.
They have an Edison type bulb on them containing a 27 foot strand of these bistro like bulbs.
The lights go on immediately when it gets dark outside and the glow lasts until daybreak.
The solar panel unit has a clip to secure it to our garden’s fence and does not take up much space.
Then we zip tied the rest of the strand which took only minutes.
You hardly notice the clip and solar panel are there at all.

It’s hard to believe this little panel generates enough power from the sun to light up the entire strand.
At night the garden glows and we don’t even need a flash light. The pathway is lit up by these magnificent solar lights that are energized by the sun.
I can’t wait to see how they do in the winter months when the time changes and it starts getting dark at 5pm.
We will definitely keep you posted on their output.
